The Napoleon Park has many amenities including a heated swimming pool with a tubular slide, tennis and basketball court, pickle ball, sand volleyball, horse shoes and a nine-hole disk golf course. Twelve camping sites, heated bath house complete with showers, playground with the some of the latest equipment and covered picnic shelters. The tennis court is concrete regulation size as well as cement outdoor basketball court. There are 12 campsites complete with 50 amp electric pods, water and sewer hook-ups available for campers. Reservations may be made by calling Park Board President Mary Schwartzenberger @ (701) 754-2320. The Rate is $28.00 per night or $170/week. |

Napoleon Country Club is located 1 mile NE of Napoleon and offers a 9-hole grass green golf course. The grounds are maintained by local grounds keepers and volunteers who take pride in the upkeep and appearance of the golf course. The green fees are $10 for 9 holes or $20 for all day. Cart rentals are available at $10 for 9 holes and $10 for each additional round. In addition, annual dues vary from $50 to $400. Golfing is a popular activity during class reunions and family reunions. The comments from out-of-town visitors have been that the course is very well maintained and displays a sense of community pride. The green fees and rental fees are very reasonably priced, and the citizens of the community are very polite. Please stop in and visit our clean, peaceful town and play a few rounds of golf at the Napoleon Country Club. |

Seventeen minutes SE of the city is Beaver Lake State Park which is also a wonderful site for fishing, boating and camping. This area of the state is known throughout the United States for its excellent waterfowl and upland game hunting. |

One look at the Napoleon Park will tell the story of how dedicated the grounds keepers and Park Board are in maintaining the area. When in town, plan to visit the park and utilize all that it has to offer. A baseball and softball diamond complex is located on the east edge of the city. There is one baseball diamond and three softball fields available. |

Napoleon Wildlife Club Trapshoot Grounds Approximately 1 mile north of Napoleon is the Napoleon Wildlife Club Trapshoot grounds and rifle range. Imperial Lanes & Recreation Bowling available for those wishing to bowl in a 4-lane facility. Men's and women's leagues run during the fall and winter. The facility is complete with automatic scorers and also offers a golf simulator. Plus enjoy hunting, fishing, bird watching and geocaching. Hunting opportunities are bountiful including upland birds, waterfowl to white tail deer. Birdwatchers can enjoy an array of species in Logan County. Situated on the Central Flyway between major refuges in South and North Dakota many waterfowl and shorebirds pass through every year. A recent rare sighting of the Great Black-backed Gull was made at West Lake, just outside Napoleon. South Lake on the northern edge of the county is a well-known migration stopover. Check out Beaver Lake State Park for migrant and resident waterfowl and shorebirds. Travel into the northeast part of the county to look for native grassland sparrow species and Sprague’s pipits.
